Beatrice is the second child of a family of six children. She lost her father at the age of 5.
Her mother sells oranges for a living, earning about $40 a month. Beatrice had to sell to provide income for the family and also to support her schooling.
She was often absent from school as her mother could not always provide her with school items.
Despite all odds Beatrice is determined and studies hard at school. She is a confident girl who dreams of becoming an accountant some day.
Beatrice is a healthy and clean student who enjoys reading among other interests.
