The Colorado-Ghana Children's Fund carries out its day-to-day operations in Ghana in partnership with Chosen Souls Center led by Mr. Edwin Vanotoo, a Ghana-born US Citizen and former student of University of Denver. As at the 2007/2008 academic year, there were 35 students including 19 females and 16 males in 20 educational institutions in the program.
Funding from Colorado-Ghana Children’s Fund provides for school fees, daily stipend, teaching and learning materials, and other basic needs like casual wear and footwear, as well as personal hygiene items for the older female students.
The programs also covers basic medical needs of all of the children who were indisposed. In addition a counsellor has been sought to engage the students in counselling sessions to help with their psychological, emotional, and moral attitudes.

The Social Services screen the street children in a vigorious process to ensure that they do actually have the need to be placed in the program.
